I am a Broker dedicated to representing the best interests of my clients in the real estate, insurance and investment markets. I provide integrated solutions for home owners, clients and business owners buying and selling real estate in Naples, buying personal and group insurance products and investing money. I have been licensed in these fields for over 20 years and a star Consultant for BCS Consultants, a multi-state brokerage and consulting service since 1987.

My Background
I am a resident of Naples working with BCS Consultants, a team of the "best" like minded independent professionals in the area providing related brokerage and consulting services in the buying and selling of real estate, group and property casualty insurance, legal, accounting, financial planning, investments (including Naples real estate) and wealth management services. I was born and brought up in New England. I hold a B.A. from the University of Hawaii in Political Science and Legal Studies. I received the Certified Health Consultant (CHC) designation from Purdue University. I am a Realtor with the Greater Naples Board of Realtors and a Registered Financial Consultant (RFC). I am a Broker-Associate with Downing-Frye Realty Company, which is the largest and most successful real estate company in Naples, appointed with most of the major insurance carriers and I solicit wealth management services for Affinity Wealth Management of Wilmington Delaware.

I am a member of the Naples Rotary Club, Trinity Church by the Cove, The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce Action Committee, Salem Chamber of Commerce, Society of Colonial Wars, Eastern Yacht Club, Gulf Coast Sailing Club and CMCS of Fort Myers, Florida. I am an avid sailor, a Merchant Marine Officer licensed by U S Coast Guard, and I sail my 39' Schooner Wind Rose from Naples Bay.

My Naples Real Estate Philosophy:
For me, Naples is all about the weather and the beach. I believe in the importance of living in close proximity to the Gulf coast waters that make Naples GREAT. And, I like living as close as possible to 3rd Street and 5th Avenue South, the heart beat of Olde Naples. I also think Naples real estate is one of the best investments you can ever make. If your circumstances permit, you should own, not only your own home in Naples, but also buy Naples investment property. If you are planning to retire in Florida, you need to seriously think about buying sooner rather than later in my "Featured Areas" before the houses get out of your price range. Demand in 2005 has shown no signs of abating, however with the hurricanes and the rising interest rates, 2006 and the next few years may be a good time to buy. Supply is still very low but the average days on the market are increasing. The recent hurricane seasons may eventually shake out some of the locals and soften the market. In my opinion, what looks over priced today will in hind sight be tomorrow's greatest bargains!

I look for values in my Featured Areas closest to olde Naples and the beach that become available for sale before they are multi-listed. My goal is to identify and sell houses before they have to be put on the open market, avoiding the hassle and disruption of the selling process and finding buyers quickly and inexpensively. However, if a property goes to multi-list for sale, which is happening more and more as the sales cycle lengthens, I put in every effort, and employ every resource, within a sellers tolerance for open houses, showings and advertising, etc. to sell the property for the highest and best price as quickly as possible. These resources include listing the property on this web site as a Featured Properties, developing an exclusive web site for your property, producing a virtual photographic tour of your property and having as many pictures on line as possible, a lock box easy showing system, and frequent open houses until the property is sold and even after it is sold to secure the contract. In other words, a full court press to get the job done!

As you probably know, there is such a global demand for Naples property that the cost of buying has forced buyers further and further away from the beach and the down town areas. And, developers are only too happy to provide fine new gated communities and condominium projects to answer this demand. The further out of town people go, the more they need to travel, the more frustrated they become with congestion and, in some cases, the less enjoyment they have with Naples as a place to live. My solution to this problem is to sell real estate in areas where a buyer is reasonable certain to enjoy the things that brought them to Naples in the first place.

For golfers and those that enjoy the weather, absent the beach, these outlying developments and sub-divisions are great because they offer complete services, Club facilities, shopping and fine dining available in close proximity and most people don't have to go very far get whatever they want. However, honestly even though this is becoming a truly regional market, the further a house is away from my Featured Areas, the less interested I am in selling it. So, my special interest and expertise is helping sellers to list and buyers to find properties in my Featured Areas.
